Eight Pillars Symbolizing Armenian Culture! Interactive Exhibition Design and Construction
Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Armenian Pavilion
Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Indonesia Pavilion
The design and construction of the Indonesia Pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan held on Yumeshima Island, Osaka for six months starting April 13, 2025, were carried out by a special construction joint venture consisting of Nishio Rent All, ATA, and Fujiya through PT. Samudra Dyan Praga. Our company was responsible for the overall project management, interior design, exhibitions, and operations.
The pavilion's theme is "Thriving in Harmony: Nature, Culture, Future." The ship-shaped pavilion symbolizes the Republic of Indonesia’s commitment to sustainable development. As the world’s largest archipelagic nation, the pavilion showcases Indonesia’s rich natural environment, cultural heritage, and its vision for the future — including initiatives to construct a new capital city.
To realize the plan designed as a single story encompassing nature, culture, and future, we developed the basic concept and provided Japanese-adapted design, construction, and staging proposals.
In the "Nature Area," we recreated a jungle environment with tropical plants (selected with consideration for Japanese climate and indoor maintenance), authentic waterfalls, and water mist. In the "Future Area," we visually represented the Republic of Indonesia's new capital "Nusantara" and infrastructure through integrated model and video displays. The symbolic rattan object in the "Dining Room" was dynamically constructed using fire-code compliant materials and methods from local Indonesian companies.
We contributed to creating a space that provides meaningful experiences for tourists, business representatives, and visitors seeking cultural exchange, allowing them to engage with the diverse aspects of the Republic of Indonesia.
