Thriving in Harmony: Nature, Culture, Future

[Concept]

Inspired by Indonesia's deep-rooted maritime legacy, the Pavilion's architectural masterpiece resembles a majestic ship, symbolizing the archipelago's history as a seafaring nation and its voyage toward a sustainable future. Through a spatial design that blends nature, culture, and the future, the pavilion allows visitors to experience Indonesia's vision of "Thriving in Harmony."

About the “Official Participant Awards”

The Official Participant Awards organized by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) are prestigious international awards recognizing 165 participating countries, regions, and international organizations at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

An independent international jury of nine experts in related fields evaluated pavilions in four categories: Architecture and Landscape, Exhibition Design, Theme Interpretation, and Sustainability.

A total of 45 Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards and four Sustainability Awards were presented to honor diversity and excellence according to each pavilion’s scale and type. The jury conducted two on-site inspections, in May and October 2025, to carefully and fairly assess the content and activities of each pavilion.
